Beige LLC, an Ohio limited liability company, doing business as FastESTI ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operates fastesti.com and the FastESTI platform (the "Service").

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service. By using FastESTI, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

• Account Information: Name, email address, company name, trade/specialty, and company size when you register.
• Project & Estimate Data: Line items, descriptions, client details, material lists, and other project data you input.
• Uploaded Documents: Blueprints, plans, spreadsheets, images, and other files you upload for AI scanning.
• Communications: Emails and messages you send to us via support channels.

2.2 Payment Information

Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full payment card information on our servers. We may receive from Stripe:

• Last four digits of your card
• Expiration date
• Billing address
• Tokenized payment reference

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

• Usage Data: Features used, actions taken, activity logs, and timestamps.
• Device Information: Browser type and version, operating system, device type, screen resolution.
• Network Information: IP address, approximate geographic location (city/state level).
• Cookies & Session Data: Session identifiers, authentication tokens, and preference settings.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information to:

• Operate, maintain, and improve the Service
• Generate AI-powered estimates and material take-offs
• Process payments and manage subscriptions
• Send transactional emails (confirmations, receipts, deliveries)
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries
• Monitor usage patterns and improve performance
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud and abuse
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms
• Develop new features and services

We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for targeted advertising.

4. AI Processing & Data Use

FastESTI uses third-party AI providers (such as Anthropic) to process project data, uploaded documents, and estimate inputs. By using the Service, you acknowledge:

• Your data may be processed by AI systems operated by third-party providers.
• AI systems may produce inaccurate or unintended outputs.
• AI processing is necessary for the core functionality of the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that any data you submit is appropriate for processing by third-party systems. Anthropic's commercial API does not use your data to train its models (per their API terms).

5. How We Share Your Information

We share data only with the following categories of service providers, and only as necessary to operate the Service:

• Stripe, Inc.
• Anthropic, PBC
• Supabase, Inc.
• Resend, Inc.
• Vercel, Inc.

We may update or replace service providers as needed to operate the Service.

Other Disclosures

We may also disclose your information:

• To comply with applicable law, regulation, or legal process
• To enforce our Terms of Service
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Beige LLC, our users, or the public
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (you will be notified)
• With your explicit consent

In the event of a business transfer, your data may be transferred as part of that transaction.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information and project data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. After account deletion:

• Personal data and project data deleted or anonymized within 30 days.
• Uploaded documents permanently deleted within 30 days.
• Payment records and invoices retained up to 7 years as required by tax and financial regulations.
• Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained indefinitely for analytics.
• Data required for pending legal claims may be retained until resolution.

7. Your Privacy Rights

7.1 All Users

Regardless of your location, you may request:

• Access: A copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction: Correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Deletion: Deletion of your personal data and account.
• Portability: Your data in a structured, machine-readable format (JSON or CSV).
• Objection: Object to certain processing of your data.

7.2 California Residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have additional rights:

• Right to Know: Request categories and specific pieces of personal information collected, sources, purposes, and third parties with whom it is shared.

8. Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use the following types of cookies:

• Essential Cookies: Required for authentication, security, and core functionality. Cannot be disabled.
• Preference Cookies: Store your settings (theme, language, trade preferences).
• Analytics Cookies: Help us understand usage patterns. Data is aggregated and anonymized.

We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

9. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including:

• TLS/SSL encryption for all data in transit
• Encryption at rest for stored data
• Secure authentication with hashed credentials
• Role-based access controls for internal systems

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and applicable authorities as required by law.

10. Sensitive Data Restriction

You agree not to upload sensitive personal data to the Service, including but not limited to:

• Social Security numbers
• Financial account credentials (bank logins, passwords)

• Highly confidential personal data not related to construction projects

Unless explicitly required and supported by the Service, uploading such data is at your own risk. We are not liable for the handling of sensitive data you submit in violation of this restriction.

11. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• The accuracy and completeness of data you submit to the Service
• The legality of all uploaded content and documents
• Ensuring you have the right and authority to share any data you upload
• Maintaining appropriate backups of your own data

12. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. 13. International Data Transfers

The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your data will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction. By using the Service, you consent to such transfers.

14. Do Not Track

Some web browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. We currently do not respond to DNT signals. We do not engage in cross-site tracking or targeted advertising.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date and notify you by email or in-app notification at least 30 days before changes take effect. Your continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
